Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist

The Veterinary Specialist Centre is seeking an additional  specialist in canine and /or feline medicine. 

The Veterinary Specialist Centre (VSC) is Sydney’s first multidisciplinary referral-only specialist centre in Northern Sydney, with specialists in Surgery, Anaesthesia, Canine and Feline Internal Medicine, Oncology and Dermatology.  

We  require an Internal Medicine specialist to join our medicine group.  The VSC provides post graduate training in internal medicine and has a full time resident and intern plus excellent nursing staff.  The VSC is equipped with a comprehensive laboratory on-site, ultrasonography, endoscopy, digital radiography, in-house CT (all films read by Specialist Radiologists)  and off-site access to MRI.

Intensive care and 24 hour monitoring is provided by the Animal Critical Care Emergency Service (ACCES).  

We will consider full-time or part-time applicants.  Salary and conditions are negotiable.

Veterinary Nurses

We are looking to add to our expanding team of nurses.
Casual, part-time and full-time positions are available within our Medicine, Oncology and Surgery departments.

The successful applicant/s will meet the following criteria:
• Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing (studying towards considered)
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• High motivation and organizational skills
• Anaesthetic and critical care monitoring experience
• Competent with intubation and IV catheter placement
• Good communication skills and friendly personality
• Reliable and punctual
• Be able to provide high quality patient care at all times

We are a well-equipped hospital with digital radiography, CT, endoscopy and have a very experienced team of specialists performing the latest techniques in their field.
